11 Night Self-drive Namibia Camping Safari

Day 1: Upon your arrival in Windhoek, you will collect your rental vehicle from the airport. A brief drive will take you to the Daan Viljoen Nature Reserve, where you can establish your campsite, unwind, indulge in a refreshing beverage, and observe the wildlife.

Day 2: Your journey will take you southwards to the Namib Naukluft region, where you'll set up camp at Sesriem Campsite amidst the desert expanse.

Day 3: An early start offers the chance to explore the renowned Sossusvlei dunes, a world-famous site. Don't forget to have your camera on hand to capture the breathtaking vistas.

Day 4-5: Navigating through the desert terrain, you'll make your way to the charming Germanic enclave of Swakopmund.  Here, you can unwind for two days at Alte Brücke, visiting the Walvis Bay lagoon and revelling in the local surroundings.

Day 6-7: Continuing your journey northwards to the Damaraland/Kaokoland area, you'll find yourself in a semi-arid landscape known for the remarkable Twyfelfontein etchings, as well as its population of desert elephants and rhinos. Your camping experience will encompass one night at Brandberg White Lady Lodge, nestled within a dry riverbed, and a second night at Khorixas Rest Camp, following your exploration of the petrified forest.

Day 8-10: Venturing further, you'll reach the renowned Etosha National Park. Over the course of three nights, you'll camp within the park itself, immersing yourself in captivating game-viewing opportunities.

Day 11: Another day dedicated to absorbing the splendours of Etosha National Park and its wildlife at Etosha Safari Camp as you make your way towards Windhoek.

Day 12: Concluding your adventure, you'll return your vehicle to Windhoek Airport before boarding your flight homeward.
